Hi, I'm Kyle Bakko. I got thrown into the world of flyfishing at the age of 10. Caught my first fish in the Beartooths at Becker Lake, and have never put the rod down since. I started tying in college while attending Northwest College in Powell WY. Where I fished 70 plus days a semester, and did terrible my first to years of school. I caught alot of fish thou on the Shoeshone, Grey Reef, North Platte, Miracle Mile and Grey bull rivers.
I started guiding the North Platte in 1999-2003. Loved it in Saratoga, WY. This is where I really started tying flies and paying attention to details. I love taking 2 different flies and making one. Miss those days in Saratoga.
I have 2 great boys that are also learning to fish, and it's a hoot. I take them to the mountains every time I get. I really hope they learn to love the outdoors, and learn to feel its magic. I have so many great memories with my family hiking and camping all over. Memories that last a lifetime
